To tackle the problem, police are offering crime prevention advice to the local residents. Owners of fuel tanks are being encouraged advice over the phone and officers are carrying out home visits to provide security measures. Burglars broke into the facility stealing computer equipment and network devices in the early hours of Monday morning. Police stated: “In the past few weeks, the raids have followed at least 30 burglaries in Gainsborough.” Police have arrested eight more people using search warrants which have been released on bail pending further enquiries.
